2018 Q3 might be bigger, comfier and more intelligent!

The next-generation Audi Q3 is likely to come at some point during 2018, and might even come with an all-electric version that will share underpinnings with the Volkswagen e-Golf – as a new report out of the UK says.

In a latest article by AutoExpress, the brand new Q3 is supposed to be lighter, much more practical and, most importantly, more upscale than the getting old present model that was first presented in 2011.

Beneath, the next generation SUV will share its MQB system with the A3 and Volkswagen Tiguan.

Using these new underpinnings, the Q3 will lose weight, have a more roomy interior and offer the possible for plug-in hybrid (PHEV) tech, even an all-electric (EV) variant.
If it make it to manufacturing, the Q3 EV might share elements with the shortly-to-be updated Volkswagen e-Golf, which, despite the fact that is not yet revealed, promises a travelling range of approximately 300km on a single charge.

AutoExpress says the new version is probably to stay similar in size to the existing model, however marginal gains in the majority of dimensions will help to make the Q3 a lot more practical and a lot more comfy for back seat passengers.

Inside, the Q3 is likely to get a significant overhaul, with the existing model’s messy centre console style to be replaced with a simplified design equivalent to Audi’s latest models – such as the A3, A4, Q5 and Q7.

Furthermore, is expected Audi’s ‘Virtual Cockpit’ digital driver’s display and the company’s newestMMI infotainment platform with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interface.

This most recent report comes when Anna Burgdorf, general manager for corporate communications for Audi Australia, said at the local show of the new Q2 SUV last September that an electrified variation of each product line would be available in the near future.

The next genration Audi Q3 is expected in thr European showrooms next year, however it’s very likely the new SUV will be uncovered before the end of this year.
