5 FACTS to buy AUDI TTRS over Porsche Cayman
|Audi TTRS new generation is a lovely model and today we are here to give you 5 facts why you shoud buy Audi TTRS over its biggest rival Porsche Cayman (of course if your budget can handle 🙂 ). So let’s start.
1.Performance
Let’s start with the first thing we are interesting for a car: Performance! Audi TTRS performance is just out of this world. New TTRS model can accelerate for 0-60 mp/h (0-100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds which is 0.5 seconds faster than Porsche Cayman while Roadster model can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. That’s all made possible by totally new 2.5-litre turbocharged all-aluminium engine which produces around 400 HP and 354 lb-ft of torque.
2.Sounds incredible
When you drive a TTRS first thing you will notice is exhaust sound. It’s just incredible and you can hear pleasant noise when you drive. Of course it’s not comparable with V10 engine sound of R8! While the biggest criticism for Porche Cayman is the noise from the exhaust, that’s the main advantage that TTRS has over its rivals.
3.More practical
Audi TTRS offers fours seats which are practical for those who have children. Even they are uncomfortable for adults,if you married and have children, a TTRS would be more practical. While on Porche Cayman there are only 2 seats and more space for luggage.
4.the ttrs interior is just incredible
Audi TTRS cabin is one of the best cabin designed by Audi-better than Audi R8,even. When you enter on it for the first time, you will be just amazed and in love with it!
The grip is absurd
The TT RS is almost as good to drive as the Cayman.
The turn in is sharp, and there’s even – shock horror – something vaguely akin to feedback from the nicely weighted steering. The grip from the four-wheel drive system is astonishing meanwhile, allowing you to make progress at a shocking rate.
If you like your throttle adjustability though, you’ll be disappointed. The TT RS is for the most part very neutral, but push hard enough – as we did when taking the car on a short handling circuit – and that grip eventually gives way to safe, predictable understeer. The only way you’ll get any movement from the rear is a well-timed stab of the brakes.
