Autocar Accelerates R8 V10 Plus At Top Speed

Aditya Patel, a race auto driver and tester for Autocar India, in the driver’s seat of a production Audi R8 V10 Plus, Autocar has quite recently set top speed record in India with an amazing 338 kph!

This top speed record was set on the edges of Hyderabad in controlled conditions and was checked and confirmed by authorities from the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India, Ernst and Youthful and the Limca Book of Records.

The past record was set at the Buddh Circuit in 2011 Indian GrandPrix by Jamie Alguersuari, a Formula 1 driver.
The record remained at 324 kph; which implies the new record via Autocar India is presently an entire 14kph quicker than the old one!
