Audi A4 is back in Black Edition

Audi A4 Black Edition revealed for the saloon and Avant, while rest of range receives equipment upgrades

Audi has added to the vast array of Black Edition models on the market with the new A4 Black Edition. With several styling upgrades, the range-topping trim addition also ushers in an equipment boost for the whole of the A4 range.

Available to order now in both saloon and Avant form, with prices starting from £32,350, the Black Edition features a set of 19-inch five-arm rotor alloy wheels in a matt titanium finish (18-inch black wheels are a no-cost option).

There’s also black surrounds for the door mirrors, front grille, air intakes and windows, while Avant models also gain black roof rails. Black side skirts and a rear spoiler complete the visual additions, while Audi has also added tinted, noise-reducing acoustic side window glass as standard.

The Black Edition is available on every engine variant in the range, bar the hot S4. At the same time, Audi has added £550 worth of new equipment to SE spec cars and above.

All now gain Audi’s connect Safety and Service system as standard, using the onboard 4G connection to allow emergency call, roadside assistance and service request functions to be activated via a panel on the roof.
Sport models get an upgraded steering wheel, heated leather seats and a larger seven-inch driver info display (the Virtual Cockpit is still optional), while S-Line cars swap the usual leather and cloth upholstery mix with leather and Alcantara, plus add seat heating.

Audi has also made cruise control and rear parking sensors standard across every model, including the A1, and rejigged the optional equipment packs to provide greater value.
