Audi S2 quattro vs Nissan GT-R Dragrace
|This video is recorded at Russia in Drag Energy Battle and it’s uploaded on youtube by ‘Archie Crown’.
Two vehicles are set in a dragrace the notorious Audi S2 Quattro and a Nissan GT-R.
The Audi S2 Quattro has 900 + horsepower while on the other hand the Nissan GT-R has 1500 horsepower 600hp more than it’s opponent and it’s a lot newer than the old S2.
Of course both car’s are modded and added more power but here is some information about the stock version of these car’s.
Audi S2 Quattro
Launched in 1990, the turbocharged four-wheel drive Audi S2 was the replacement for the original quattro. So it had a lot to live up to. It was based on the 1988 Coupe, and powered by the brilliant 2.2-litre 20V five-cylinder engine used in the Audi 200 and run-out quattros. Original power output was 217bhp, which was enough to push the new coupe to almost 150mph – a barrier breached in 1992 with the first facelift, where the S2 received an uprated 230bhp power unit.
The S2 was originally offered in coupe form only, but in 1993, the saloon (limited run with a mere 306 built) and Avant models were added to the range, considerably adding to the S2’s appeal and meaning it would go head-to-head with the BMW M3. These later facelifted models may have looked almost identical to the 1990 original, but were extensively re-engineered under the skin. It was this car that also provided the basis for the 1994-’95 Audi Avant RS2.
Nissan GT-R
Doesn’t matter what you call it—GT-R or, more fittingly, Godzilla—Nissan’s range topper is a supercar-stomping, high-tech dynamo. Its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-6 makes a mighty 565 hp while a six-speed dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel drive team up to put all that power to the pavement. The GT-R’s quick steering, rigid structure and adjustable suspension can make even amateurs feel positively heroic from behind the wheel.
BASE PRICE:$111,585

Lot of people would say S2 is not a match for GTR but you might be surprised.
